Renovations & extensions: love where you live, just not the house?
Kitchens, bathrooms, extensions and whole-house renovations across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the Hunter.

Make the house you've got work harder
Sometimes the bones are good and the location's perfect. The house just needs to catch up with your life.
It might be one tired bathroom, a kitchen that doesn't work, or another bedroom and a living area that opens to the yard. We work with you on what's worth changing, what's worth keeping, and how to make old and new feel like they were always meant to be together.
Living with a reno
Renovating is different from building new. Often you're living in the house, or right next to the work.
We plan the job around that. We tell you what's happening and when, keep the site tidy and safe, and say early when something behind a wall changes the plan. We've renovated our own home too, so we know what it's like on your side of the dust sheets.
Keeping it on track
With more than 25 years in building behind him, Gav keeps a close eye on every job. We set out a realistic program, check in with updates and photos, and write down and price any change before the work changes. No nasty surprises if we can help it.
How we approach renovations & extensions
- Consultation — No-cost first chat. Book a call and we'll talk through your plans, by phone or video.
- Feasibility — Already got plans? We'll price them and tell you honestly whether they're close to your budget. Starting from scratch? We look at the existing house, the planning rules and a realistic budget first.
- Pre-construction — We sit in on design meetings and help as much or as little as you need. We'll work with your own designer, or point you to designers we work closely with, and keep things on track either way. We look for ways to save you money and keep the pricing up to date, so you know where each decision leaves your budget. We also plan how the work will run around you living in or near the house, and we help keep approvals moving with your designer and certifier.
- Contract — Once the scope is clear, you get a fixed-price contract, a program and a start date, so you can plan your life around it.
- Construction and handover — Updates and photos between meetings, and any change written down and priced first. Then a walk-through, anything on the list sorted, and your home handed back, finished.
